We are looking for an experienced back-end Node.js Engineer to help write and extend a greenfield project that involves an LLM API which will expose data to the front-end, our Next.js React application. This is the fundamental piece of engineering to launch Booming Jobs into the stratosphere!

You will become a part of a growing, international team, with T-shaped specialists like yourself. Meetings are few, so you can work on your projects uninterrupted. The team is agile and open to embrace your valuable, new ideas.

• Merging finished PRs into production
• Checking (prioritized) tasks in our backlog
• Writing tests for your business logic
• Picking up anything from the top of the backlog
• Committing often & making small pull requests, as well as reviewing others' pull requests
• Sharing your updates with your teams

LOCATION

We are looking for a seasoned Node.js Engineer who is familiar with the latest technologies. You have a sensible and pragmatic understanding of Typescrypt and deep knowledge of SQL databases and database design. Server-side caching and its implementations are no mystery to you. You also have experience with Nest.js or are willing to learn.

In addition, the ideal candidate also brings:

Familiarity with front-end development

Experience with cloud services, preferably Google Cloud

Proficiency in Git and version control

Knowlegde of RESTful API development and integration

Understanding of CI/CD pipelines

Familiarity with Docker and containerization

Good understanding of cross-platform compatibility issues and ways to work around them
